I'm Jennifer Schecter, and I've spent over 30 years in and around action sports: first building brands and businesses from the ground up, then spending over a decade inside a global lifestyle brand company rebuilding the systems that let those businesses scale. Schecter Solutions is what happens when that entrepreneurial instinct meets institutional-grade systems knowledge, now applied to your business instead of someone else's.

Schecter Solutions carries a family name. That’s on purpose.

Where This Started

I entered the action sports industry in 1989, teaching snowboarding, then co-running a small ski area's snowboard school: hiring and training instructors, running the day-to-day, and building out events. That's the experience an established rep saw when he brought me on in 1991 as his first sub-rep, for a key territory representing the strongest snowboard brand of that era.

He handled sales in most of its forms, relationships and deals alike, and since I was his first sub-rep, we were both figuring out what that role should even look like. What fell primarily to me was the operational load behind it: managing prebooks and in-season replenishment for proper assortment and volume, product knowledge clinics, on-snow demos, and trade show presentations, while working alongside a small crew who helped run events and demos on the ground.

Managing the back-end mechanics of that fast-moving territory taught me how a business holds together. By 1993, I'd left to launch my own sales agency representing Special Blend, right as its parent portfolio grew into what became Four Star Distribution. That became Clockwork Enterprises, an independent agency I built and ran for over a decade, managing $4M in annual revenue across brands like C1RCA, Forum, Special Blend, Foursquare, DNA Distribution, Holden, and Rome Snowboards. Alongside it, I founded and ran the Cherry Hill Show for ten years, a B2B trade event that grew into one of the most-attended regional sales shows in the country: 70+ brands, real retailer relationships, built from nothing.

That's the part of my background that doesn't show up on a typical resume: before I ever touched an ERP system, I already knew how brands, reps, and retailers work together, because I'd built that world myself.

Then, the Systems Chapter

In 2012, I joined Globe International, and over the next 13 years I moved from Sales Manager into Sales Ops, then Senior Business Operations Manager, eventually leading a team overseeing a sizable multi-brand wholesale account portfolio. That's where the deeper technical work happened: rebuilding a broken retail-compliance process and recovering a substantial amount of annual margin that had been leaking through chargebacks, directing the company-wide rollout of NuOrder across 50+ reps, building brands end-to-end on ERP from scratch, and becoming the person other regions called when their own implementations stalled out.

So when I look at your operation, I'm not applying a framework I read about. I'm applying the same two things, in the same order, that built my own path: understand how the business runs on the ground, then build the systems that let it run without you having to hold it together by hand.

Why Schecter Solutions, Why Now

I started this practice because I kept seeing the same gap: lean, product-based companies with real momentum, running into the exact friction points I spent a career learning to fix. Not because they're doing anything wrong, just because nobody's had the time to stop and look.

I'm not interested in vague strategy decks. I'm interested in the specific workflow that's costing you money, the account relationship one step from a chargeback, the report that only tells you what already happened. That's the work.

What People Say

When SMU management, deliveries, and marketing coordination needed someone who wouldn't let a single detail slip:

"Jenn is one of the best sales reps I've had the privilege of working with while at CCS. Her expertise in the brands she represents, the product lines she shows, and her knowledge of the market and industry make her a valued asset for any organization. Her meticulous follow-through on SMUs, orders, deliveries, samples, marketing, and operations is superb, bar none."

  • Susan Van Arsdale, Director/GMM, CCS

When a sales territory needed someone who'd outwork and out-detail everyone else in the room:

"Jennifer is an incredibly hard worker that attacks every task before her in the most tenacious manner possible. She was always at the top of her class, yet constantly challenging herself to get better—never resting on her laurels, and never taking 'no' for an answer. A selling machine with outstanding market knowledge, and a bordering-on-lunacy attention to detail."

  • Derek Miller, Head of Sales, Four Star Distribution

When multiple brands under one roof needed operations that didn't just function, but made cross-departmental work genuinely easier:

"I have worked closely with Jenn throughout her time at Globe Intl. and across the many brands she helped lead, including Globe, Salty Crew, Impala Roller-Skates, FXD Workwear, and other brands over the years. She builds strong relationships across departments, communicates clearly, and creates systems that make businesses run better, easier, and smarter."
